ST HELENS, Wednesday 1st - Making its appearance on the BBC Breakfast news was APES - Association of Protecting Exotic Species, a trailblazer shelter, rescue, and adoption centre for exotic animals. The highlight of the day was the in-depth discussion geared towards augmenting public awareness about the urgency and procedures of rehoming exotic animals.

APES, a non-profit organization, is dedicated to protecting the welfare of exotic species, offering safe refuge at their headquarters at Unit 7, Cross House, Sutton Road, St Helens, WA9 3YH. This is a key milestone as their advocacy broadened to reach more eyes and ears across the nation through BBC.

During the program, representatives of APES not only shared insightful information about the pressing needs of these special creatures but also indicated ways in which the public can lend their support. This further positions APES as a leading voice addressing urgent concerns related to the care and adoption of exotic pets.

"We had an exceptional time being on the esteemed BBC Breakfast program," said the spokesperson for APES. "Our main objective is to get people across the UK to understand the intensity of the situation. We hope to be back soon, providing more helpful information to the public."

APES also includes a pet care clinic and a pet shop for exotic pets. They offer comprehensive services, ranging from necessary medical treatments to accessories and supplies required for these unique pets.

Public support can be shown in many ways, from adopting these exotic animals, providing donations, or volunteering time at the rescue centre.
