Exciting Updates Coming Sooner than You Think!

Excitement is brewing at APES (Association of Protecting Exotic Species) as we gear up to roll out some upgrades on our APES Shelter and Rescue website – an integral part of our mission to rescue, rehabilitate, and find loving homes for the exotic creatures under our care.

Scheduled for release on Saturday, 24th of February 2024, we anticipate these changes will enhance user experience and ensure more accurate, updated information at the fingertips of our supportive public.

Here's what you can look forward to:

  1. New Styling: We’re sprucing up our website to provide an enjoyable, user-friendly experience. Expect cleaner designs, brighter colours and more intuitive navigation.

  2. Updated Information: Like the speedy iguana, we’re moving fast to update all the important details about our animals - from their unique characteristics to their adoption status. This will ensure our users have the most relevant details when they need them.

  3. APES Shelter & Rescue Independence: In this upgrade, we are ferrying our APES Shelter and Rescue website on its solo journey. Our goal is for it to become an independent platform away from the main APES site – dedicated solely to our rescue and adoption efforts.

  4. Preparation for the User Portal: This update is setting the stage for an exciting addition – a Service User Portal. This forthcoming feature will lend a helping hand in managing surrenders, rescues, and adoptions, providing seamless interactions for our users. This powerful tool will be introduced in our next upgrade, so stay tuned for that!

Patience, like a tenacious turtle, is a virtue – and as hard as it might be to wait, we promise you these updates to the APES Shelter and Rescue website will be worth it! We believe that these changes will improve your experience and our exotic animal friends will benefit from your increased ease of engagement.

Your understanding and support while we transition during these upcoming changes are much appreciated. Should you have any questions or need more information in the meanwhile, feel free to give us a call at 01744 904 994 or drop us a mail at info@apes.org.uk

Thank you for your ongoing support, and we look forward to unveiling the new look APES Shelter and Rescue website to you all on the 24th!
